The 4th seminar in our "59 Minute to a Better Business" series, this month focuses on Guerilla Marketing. Guerilla Marketing is a tactic of J. Conrad Levinson which helps you to effectively market your business, often times with little or no out-of-pocket expense.
Presented by Kenny Parlet and Anthony Barthel, this seminar will combine Kenny's retail experience as owner of Lakeview Market with the hospitality industry experience of Tony Barthel, co-owner of the Featherbed Railroad.
About Tony Barthel
Tony Barthel spent 22 years in the event and entertainment business in Los Angeles before moving to Lake County in 2008. He still owns a banquet hall in L.A. as well as a DJ and entertainment company there. In addition, Barthel has written a book on weddings and continues to write his syndicated Curbside automotive column which appears in newspapers all over the U.S. He currently serves on the Board of the Lakeport Regional Chamber of Commerce. In 2009 he and wife Peggy bought the Featherbed Railroad Bed and Breakfast resort and have seen occupancy grow 50% even in these recessionary times.
About Kenny Parlet
Kenny Parlet is twice the Past President of the Lakeport Regional Chamber of Commerce, his Rotary club, Commissioner of the Coastal Mountain Official’s Association, Executive Board Member of the local Economic Development organization, and also sits on the local Hospital Foundation board, and is currently the president of the Northshore Business Association.
What is important to you however, is that Parlet has been a student of personal development, leadership, communications, and human resources for over 27 years. He has over 30 years of intensive sales and marketing training. Kenny is a professional leadership trainer, a seasoned presenter and accomplished speaker. Most importantly, he has 39 years experience battling and “Clashing with the Titans” of retail and still thrives in his retail business. He will share with you today key ingredients, tactics, strategies and many concrete examples on how to make any retail or service business more successful
