My name is David Armstrong, my wife (Michelle) and I are fairly new to Lake County. We were inspired to create a business that supports both the local businesses and the local citizens of the community as well. By creating and producing local community calendars, we offer cost effective and affordable advertising to local businesses. We also give the local citizens of the community that support those businesses a user friendly and easy to use format (a calendar) that everyone knows how to use and uses on a weekly if not daily basis! This gives us a unique position and perspective that completely involves us in every aspect of our local community. Because it’s just the Mrs. and I running this new venture we literally have to know what’s going on in our local community all year long. Our new business is the first and only one of its kind in Lake County but with all good ideas come some impersonators or copy cats. That just means that we have a great idea and that people will like and use our product all year long! By meeting face to face with local business owners and by joining various local Chambers as well as smaller business associations we’ve managed to get the word out and paint the picture of our vision! We were successful in our endeavors and we look forward to producing and delivering our new Lake County Community Calendars in January 2010. We will also be launching our new website (www.lakecountycalendar.com) shortly thereafter which will truly put us in the forefront of our local community! Since we supply the local community with both a printed and a virtual version of what’s going on in Lake County all year long we expect nothing but the best for the future of our new business venture! We’re centrally located in Nice and of course we’ll be available to place advertising for local businesses in Lake and Mendocino Counties year round. In fact, we’ll be producing and delivering a printed version for Mendocino County in 2011 and we’ll have the internet version (mendocinocountycalendar.com) up and running before then as well. We’d like to sincerely thank all of the forty some local businesses in Lake County that made all of this possible by supporting our endeavor and we look forward to many more years of success!
